FAXLink is a multi-channel interactive voice and fax server designed for call center enhanced fax applications: Fax-on-demand, desktop fax serving, fax broadcasting and intranet/internet web faxing.

Designed for call centers

FAXLink is designed specifically for call center environments. It can act as the inbound automated attendant answering each call, presenting menu options for voice response information, for fax-on-demand information response, or to be transferred to a live customer service representative. Or, you can have it dedicated to answer calls from people who want to help themselves to documents and receive them by fax-on-demand.

With FAXLink, the fax-on-demand and automated attendant applications can be run on one Windows system platform without LAN connection (stand-alone) or you can attach the FAXLink system to your corporate network and expand the possibilities.

FAXLink does it all! With FAXLink on your LAN, everyone can send documents right from their Windows desktop PC. No more printing and walking over to the fax machine.

V*Channel's FAXServer for Windows (desktop client front-end program) is designed specifically for call center personnel. It is easy to use and fast. Since most of the time the same documents are sent to fulfill the common requests, selecting documents is simple and fast because a list of documents and their descriptions are presented on the screen. All you do is click on the documents you want to send. No need to remember the filenames of the documents. And, whenever you have to create a unique document all you do is print it using the FAXLink print driver and the FAXLink fax server will fax it for you automatically.

And, more LAN applications

The FAXLink interactive voice and fax server does more than just accept fax requests from Windows desktop P.C.s, actually any system on the network can command the FAXLink server through FAXLink's LAN fax gateway interface.

Take a situation where another PC, minicomputer, or mainframe is running a process at night, like processing orders, running reports, etc. and needs to deliver the order confirmations or reports to their recipients by fax. This can be done automatically using FAXLink's LAN fax gateway. It is so simple to do and utilizes FAXLink when your fax-on-demand call volume is the lowest and maximizing the utilization of the system.

Faxing from the Web

One unique use of FAXLink's LAN fax gateway is to fax documents which are being viewed by call center personnel using an intranet web browser. The use of the intranet by customer service call center personnel is growing and promises to be the most common way to access static documents, knowledge bases, and dynamic information from databases. And, since this information must be delivered to the caller what better way than by fax. Faxing is still the easiest way to deliver graphic or formatted information.
